　　Frozen assets
　　The International community has lifted economic sanctions on Iran, after the UN’s atomic watchdog confirmed on Jan 16 that Iran had complied with its obligations under last summer’s nuclear deal, the AFP reported. Over $30 billion (197 billion yuan) in frozen assets overseas will be immediately available to Iran. Under the deal, Iran will destroy the core of its nuclear facilities in return for relief from Western sanctions.
　　法新社报道，1月16日，联合国原子能监管机构确认，伊朗履行了去年夏天所签署的核协议所规定的义务，随后，国际社会解除了对伊朗的经济制裁。制裁解除后，伊朗在海外的300亿美元的冻结资产(约合1970亿人民币)可以立即使用。根据该协议，伊朗将拆除其核心核设施，以此换取西方解除制裁。
　　马上学： Freeze在文中指“冻结、查封”银行账户、资金或财产(a bank account, fund, or property)等，从而使资产所有人无法使用这些资产。“解除冻结”是unfreeze。
