　　Finger vein authentication
　　High-tech anti-cheating measures including finger vein verification and facial recognition will be adopted for the first time in many places during this year’s gaokao. The finger vein authentication recognizes individuals through the unique pattern of veins in their fingers. China has listed cheating on the exam as a criminal act in its newly amended Criminal Law, effective from Nov 1 last year.
