　　Raging wildfire
　　A raging wildfire has ripped through Canada’s oil sands region. Officials warned the almost 100,000 people who fled the area that they would not be returning home soon. The fire started on May 1 in northern Alberta and quickly spread northeast. It looks set to become the costliest natural disaster in Canada’s history. One analyst estimated insurance losses could exceed $9 billion CAD (45 billion yuan). The source of the fire is under investigation.
