　　The world’s first crayfish insurance has been launched by Ping An Property Insurance in Nanjing, which is designed to protect restaurants from claims by customers taken ill by eating the freshwater crustacean. According to a Ping An spokesperson, an eatery’s medical *liability payout would be covered if the symptoms of rhabdomyolysis, a disease that can come from eating crayfish which causes muscle deterioration, appear within 12 hours of eating.
