in spite of 尽管，虽然(despite)
例句：1.In spite of himself，he could't stop eating．
虽然不想吃，他还不停地吃。
2.In spite of the loud music, I soon managed to fall asleep.
尽管音乐声音太大，我很快就睡着了。

2.wear n. 呈现；带着；磨损；用旧
wear (with) a long face 拉长脸，不高兴(showing an unhappy look)
例句：1.Wearing a long face, father seemed to have predicted Tony's lies.
父亲拉长着脸，似乎已经预知了托尼的谎言。
2.Don't just sit there with a long face. Come and have a dance.
别那样不高兴地坐在那里，过来跳支舞吧。

A:Why do you always put on slippers when you go into your apartment?
