1.carry vt．传送，运送
carry away 激动，感动(to excite)
例句：1.Don't be carried away by his praise, he is not very sincere when saying this.
别被他的赞美冲昏了头，他说这话的时候不是非常诚恳。
2.Amy got extremely involved in the movie and was carried away by its plot.
艾米看这部电影的时候非常投入，被影片的情节打动了。
carry on 继续下去
A:I think it's great that you are able to speak so many different languages.
A:我认为你能说这么多门外语真了不起。
B:I can carry on simple conversations, but that's really about it.
B:我只会简单的对话，就这些。
carry out 执行，履行（carry out这个习语使用场合较多，如：carry out the plan 执行计划，carry out the policy 执行政策，carry out one's duty 履行职责，carry out one's words履行诺言）
例句：Over the course of the year, the company carried out the plan.
在一年多的时间里，公司执行了这个计划。
A:Have you ever put one of these together before?
A:以前你有没有把这些都拼在一起过？
B:never. But I think if we carrry out thsse instructions exactly,we won't have any trouble．
B:没有，但如果我们严格按说明做的话，不会有问题的。

2.flat n. 公寓房 adj．平坦的，平的，扁平的
flat tyre 轮胎（没气了）(bus, car, bike) can't work due to lack of air in the tyre)
A:If I were you, I'd rather ride a bike to work.
A:如果我是你的话，我宁愿骑自行车上班。
B:Thank you for your advice, but my bike got a flat tyre.
B:多谢你的建议，可是我的自行车没气了。

3.plough v. 耕地
plough through 费力地通过；费劲地阅读
例句：Are you sure you want to plough through that thick book?
你肯定会读完那么厚的书吗？
