　　1.问路之前，一般应先说句Excuse me，既可以引起对方的注意，也可以表示礼貌，意为“劳驾;打扰一下”。

　　2.询问某个具体的地方：

　　Could you tell me how to get to the railway station?你能告诉我怎么去火车站吗?

　　How do I find the museum?我怎样才能找到博物馆呢?

　　Do you know where the post office is?你知道邮局在哪儿吗?

　　Could you direct me to the stadium?你能给我指指去体育场的路吗?

　　How can I get to the Number 6 bus stop?我怎样才能找到6路车的车站?

　　Is this the right way for the People’s Park?去人民公园是走这条路吗?

　　3.询问附近的某个地方：

　　Where is the closest cinema?最近的电*在哪儿?

　　Is there a grocery store around here?这附近有杂货店吗?

　　二、指路

　　1.指出明确的路线：

　　Turn right at the first crossroad/the traffic light.在第一个十字路口/红绿灯处右转。

　　Take the second turning on the left.第二个路口左转。

　　Go down this street .沿着这条街往下走。

　　Go straight on Victory Street.沿着胜利大街直走。

　　Continue straight ahead for about a kilometer.继续向前直行约一公里。

　　Keep going for another 100 meters.再走一百米。

　　2.指路时可给予必要的提示：

　　It’s a very busy road.那条路太堵了。

　　It’s a big hill.那有一个大坡。

　　There might be construction.那儿可能正在施工。

　　3.指明线路后可做进一步确认：

　　Did you get all that?你都听明白了吗?

　　Would you like to follow me? I’ll take you there.你愿意跟我一起吗?我带你去。

　　Do you want me to draw you a map?用不用我给你画张地图?

　　4.不知道路线：

　　I’m sorry, I’m not from here.对不起，我不是本地人。

　　I’m afraid I can’t help you.恐怕我帮不上忙。

　　Sorry I don’t know the way around here.对不起，这块儿的路我不熟。

　　You could ask the bus driver.你可以问问公交车司机。

　　[提示]

　　1.如果路线复杂，可以用first, then, after that, when you get to the...等词句来进行过渡。

　　2.block指“一段街区”，the next block就表示“下个路口之后的那个街区”。

　　3.固定搭配：

　　go+方向

　　take+路名

　　turn+right/left

　　stay on+路名+for+距离或时间

　　例：Stay on Route 1 for about ten minutes.沿着1号公路行进大约10分钟。
