The Tortoise and the Hare Once upon a time, there was a tortoise and a hare. They were neighbors and often played together. One day, they decided to have a race to see who was faster. The hare confidently said, "I'm sure I'll win!" The tortoise, however, was not afraid. "Let's see who can reach the finish line first," she said. The race began. The hare quickly dashed ahead, feeling very confident in his speed. The tortoise, however, plodded along slowly but steadily. Seeing the tortoise far behind, the hare decided to take a nap. He reasoned that the tortoise would never catch up, and he could still win the race by starting again after a short rest. The tortoise kept going, step by step. Although she was far behind the hare, she never gave up. After a while, the hare woke up and saw the tortoise was almost at the finish line. He quickly ran to catch up, but it was too late. The tortoise had already won the race! Moral of the story: Slow and steady wins the race. 本文来源:https://www.wddqw.com/doc/b7e2bbe024d3240c844769eae009581b6ad9bd4c.html
