The advantages of online learning At present,with the wide application of computer and the Internet,people’s lives have changed greatly,and the appearance of online learning is a good example. There are many factors accounting for the rise of on line learning,First of ,the development of technology lays the foundation for online learning,making it possible for people to enjoy a more convenient and easier learning style. Secondly,people in moden society have to deal with many things in daily life.Consequently,their time is divided into small fragments.Therefore,online learning becomes their best way to acquire knowledge. Online learning makes learning much easier.You must start your class whenever you want to,without being afraid that it is too late.No matter what you want to learn,what you need to do is just to click your mouse.You just sit there, Before a computer, and everything is within your reach, What’s more,the rich resourses on the Internet broaden your horizon.In a word,online learning help you get rid of the restraint of time and place,and makes it possible for you to learn more Nowadays,instead of rushing to big cities as they did in previous years,more and more college studengts choose to work in small cities after graduation.As far as I concerned, This phenomenon results from a series of different reasons. In the first place,pressure in big cities is much bigger than in small cities.For a college graduate,it would take more efforts to make a living in big cities than in small ones.Not to mention living comfortably.For example,the housing price in big cities may be several times of that in small cities.So is the consumption level.What’s more,it usually takes more years to strive for success in big cities.In the second place,many college graduates choose to work in small cities for the simple environment.Living style in small cities is usually much simpler than that in big cities,which is preferable for those who want to lead a simple life. If it is left to me to dicide whether to work in big cities or in small ones,I would prefer the small ones,since life in small cities is more comfortable for its simplicity. Should college dormitories have the Internet? With the development of technology and society,the Internet plays an increasingly important role in our daily life.People are relying more on the Internet at work ,so do college students.And many colleges have already offered their studengts access to the Internet in their dormitories,which brings convenience to the study of students,but also generates problems. On the one hand,it is doubtless that if college dormitories have the Internet,students will have more access to knowledge.What’s more, With the Internet, students can keep a keen contact with the outside world and broaden their horizon, sothat they would not become a nerd On the other hand,it is sure that nothing in this world is absolutely Positive.With the Internet installed in dormitories,there would be negative influences.The first and worst is that it will affect the study of students.It’s not a fresh news that there are students addicted to the Internet,which results in poor performance at schools/ In my opinion,college dormitories should have the Internet,since In general,there are more positive influences than negative ones,and we should not abandon anything helpful to our students just for its minor shortcoming. My view on cyber manhunt The development of computer science and the popularity of Internet service co-occur with certain social side effects,and cyber manhunt is one of these problems.Cyber manhunt is a special search engine which uses participation of the Internet users to provide,filter and finally find the requested information.With the united efforts of the netizens,many social evils are exposed to the public.But the negative influence of the cyber nanhunt couldn’t be ignored. One of the bad effects of the cyber manhunt is the invasion of individual privacy.Although the initial motive of the enthusiastic netizens might not be malicious,their overly digging out of personal information would seriously disturb others’lives or even infringe upon people’s privacy.Because of the weak legal awareness of some netizens,plenty of confidential information is even available on the net.Another flaw of cyber manhunt is the uncontrollable result,When the evils are exposed out,the public can not keep their anger inside the virtual society,and therefore the anger may easily provoke radical punishments in reality. From my perspective,a useful and sound cyber manhunt is possible,only if we netizens could enhance our legal and moral consciousness,and if government could establish relevant legislations and rules to regulate people’s online behaviors. How to run a popular college newspaper? College newspaper,once the leading media on campus,is gradually losing its charm among students.An increasing number of students would rather seek news and information from the campus BBS than college newspaper. There are many factors contributing to the weakening popularity of the college newspaper.Firstly,the contents on these newspapers are out of date,as college newspapers are issued weekly or monthly.There is no reason to expect anything new from them.Moreover,college newspapers could not meet the need of students,so students always resort to campus BBS to look for second-hand books or part-time job. Then how to run a popular college newspaper?my suggestions as fellows.At first,as many newspaper does,college newspaper should keep strengthening the interactivity with its readers,learning about their opinions.Then more columns should be launched to provide the latest information about second-hand transactions,part-time job or trip tips.Moreover,in application of computers and Internet,we can offer online editions of college newspaper to update more information.Then we could expect the renewed popularity of our college newspaper. More and more graduates are going out of universities and entering into the society every year.while the demand on the job market remains stable.The college students are facing greater and greater pressure in job-haunting. There are many factors accounting for the current phenomenon. To begin with ,the economy has been confronted with depression in recent years on a global level,and it takes time for the worldwide economy to recover.What’s more,there is an element of irrationality in the enrollment of the campus,some hot majors have enrolled too many students,and many people compete for one position after graduation,whereas the majors with little attention have few students, And more graduates are need than the campus can supply.
