　　World Diabetes Day falls on November 14th each year. To set up this day is to strengthen the publicity and education on diabetes prevention and monitoring, to improve the understanding of diabetes, asking people pay more concerned about the life and work of diabetes patients, to strengthen the research on diabetes prevention, treatment. As people’s living standard has been improved and taking less exercise, the number of diabetes patients is increasing day by day. Although mild diabetes would not lead to death, but when it becomes serious, the consequence will be different. The rate of people die of diabetes is larger and larger. Everyone should aware this and fight for this horrible chronic disease to reduce the death rate. Keeping a good diet and living a good living style is helpful. In other word, people should eat healthy and do more exercise. Let’s work together to make a healthy world!

　　In my hometown, there is a tradition that we will hold a celebration party when we enter a higher school. This summer I will go to high school. So my parents hold a celebration party for me on 25th, August. They invite some of our close relatives to come to our home for a big dinner. It is the tradition that the celebration is for families not friends. So, I don’t invite any of my friends. The dinner is very fancy, which is comparable to the festival dinner. During the dinner time, they will ask me about my school and study, and the give some encouragement to me. Later, when the dinner is going to the end, they will give some money to me for the school expend, inclining that they support me to receive better education. And my parents will appreciate for their contribution. Then the celebration for entering a higher school is closed.

　　在我家乡有一个传统，那就是当我们升学的时候会办升学酒。今年夏天我就要上高中了。所以我父母八月二十五日的时候帮我办了升学酒。他们邀请了我们一些比较亲的亲戚来我们家吃丰盛的晚餐。升学酒的习俗是邀请家人而不是朋友。所以，我一个朋友都没有邀请。晚餐很丰盛，可以和节日大餐相媲美了。晚饭的时候，他们会问我一些关于我的学校和学习上的事情，并且鼓励我。之后在晚餐将要结束的时候，他们会给我一些钱作为我在学校的花费，表示他们是支持我接受更好的教育的。我的父母会感谢他们的付出。然后升学酒就结束了。

　　I have a dream from childhood. I want to be a journalist when I grow up. A journalist can do a lot of things. I prefer to go out rather than stay beside the desk. As a journalist, I can often go out to do interview or search news. In a word, if I am a journalist, I can usually go out for work. This is what I want. Secondly, I want to stand in the first line of the world, and not want to be out. Journalist is the bridge to collect news. This is a good way fit for my interest. Thirdly, I want to be useful for the society. I think making a variety of news well-known to all common people is kind of a useful person. At least, being a journalist, I would not be a useless person. Last but least, I want to help people. As a journalist, I can reveal some people’s difficulty to appeal the help of people from all walks of life. For example, if I report the difficulty of a poor family, it may cause the attention from other people and then automatically donate to them. In general, to be a journalist is very proud for me. I will try my best to reach my dream.
