China’s internet giant Baidu has finalized an agreement with communications titan China Unicom on Nov. 2 to cooperate on mobile Internet, artificial intelligence (AI), big data and communication. 　　The president and CEO of Baidu, Robin Li, believes that the company’s AI technology will boost the user experience of China Unicom’s customer base. Wang Xiaochu, president of China Unicom, also expressed optimism about the potential of the collaboration.
　　百度的董事长兼首席执行官李彦宏认为，该公司的人工智能技术将提升中国联通客户群的用户体验。中国联通董事长王晓初也对合作的潜力持乐观态度。
　　With the application of cutting-edge technologies such as speech recognition, face recognition, voice assistant and natural language-processing, Baidu will improve the service quality and efficiency of China Unicom’s offline outlets, promoting intelligent service, logistics and cash flow.
