1.举例子会用的转折语:

如果是要举例子，第一个想到的是不是for example?不过，除了for example之外，还可以使用such as/for instance/to illustrate……请看例句：

Many movies contribute to her frame.For example,The Perks of Being a Wallflower and xXx:Return of Xander Cage.
许多电影作品促成了妮娜·杜波夫的名气。举例来说：《壁花少年》和《极限特工：终极回归》
也可以改成：

Many movies contribute to her frame.For instance,The Perks of Being a Wallflower and xXx:Return of Xander Cage.

Many movies contribute to her frame.To illustrate,The Perks of Being a Wallflower and xXx:Return of Xander Cage.

Many movies contribute to her frame.Such as,The Perks of Being a Wallflower and xXx:Return of Xander Cage.

2.表达因果关系会使用的转折语

除了Becasue/so之外，还是有其他可以表达因果关系的转折语，例如：due to/owing to 请看例句：

He had to cancle the meeting because of a schedule conflict.
由于行程上的冲突，他必须取消会议。
也可以改成：

He had to cancle the meeting due to a schedule conflict.

He had to cancle the meeting owing to a schedule conflict.

3.对比关系会使用的转折语

这类转折语比较常见的有：on the other hand/instead of,但是大家别忘记了还有whereas，otherwise 请看例句:

Some people prefer American accent,whereas others prefer British accent.
有些人喜欢美式口音，而有些人喜欢英国口音。
The price is a bit high,but otherwise the food is satisfactory.
