Imagine you are an American student on vacation in Beijing. Write a travel diary.
1.Thursday, August 1st
Today I went to the Palace Museum. It was cool. Then I visited a Beijing Hutung. It was boring, but the people there were friendly.
2.Friday, August 2nd
It was nice day today. I with my friend, Jim went to the Great Wall. When we got to the top of the great building, we shouted, “We've been a true man!” Why did we so shout, do you know? Ha-ha! Because the Chinese people have an idiom,“He has never been to the Great Wall and he is not a true man”. Back from the Great Wall, we went to the Tian’an Men Square. It was really beautiful and stately!
