高考英语词汇详解：being惯用语
　　1 . bring sth into being 使某事物产生或发生。如：
　　What brought this into being? 是什么使它发生的?
　　注：有时可用被动语态。如：
　　A committee was called into being to discover the causes of the accident. 为了调查事故原因，成立了一个委员会。
　　2 . come into being 发生，产生，诞生，成立。如：
　　When did the world come into being? 世界是何时开始的?
　　The May 4th Movement came into being at the call of the October Revolution. 五四运动是在十月革命的号召下发生的。
　　注：come into being 是不及物动词，所以不要误用被动语态。
　　3 . for the time being 暂时，目前，当前。如：
　　All is well, for the time being. 眼下一切顺利。
　　Let’s do it just for the time being. 让我们只是暂时做一下这件事。
