　　At three pm on January, 22, the second teaching staff winter swimming competition was held in our school swimming pool.
　　Teachers, all in high spirits, participated in the competition. Some were swimming as if they were specialists while others dived into the pool with water splashing around, making their students screaming and moving backwards. The swimming pool exploded into cheers and laughter, and people there seemingly forgot it was in winter. After the fierce competition, the team of maths teachers got the first place unexpectedly. What surprised us was that the team of our English teachers, who ranked the fifth last year, won the second place.
　　This event is more than a competition, which provides our teachers with a platform where they can not only show their sports talents but free themselves from work for a while.
