墨菲定律的翻译 （2007-03-21 00:37:52） Murphy's Law 墨菲定律 1. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. 如果有可能出错的事情准会出错。 （ 不要心存侥幸之心！ ） 2. You will always find something in the last place you look. 你总是在最后一个地方找到你遗失的东西。 （ 做事要细心，不要粗心大意。 ） 3. No matter how long or how hard you shop for an item, after you've bought it, it will be on sale somewhere cheaper. 不管你花了多少时间和精力去买一样东西， 买来后你总是会发现某处卖得更 便宜。 （不要以为自己能占到或是捡便宜。 ） 4. The other line always moves faster. 另外一条队伍总是移动得快一些。 （ 人外有人，山外有山。或是：做一行怨一行。 ） 5. In order to get a loan, you must first prove you don't need it. 为了申请到贷款，你首先得证明你不需要它。 （银行只有锦绣上添花，没有雪中送炭。 ） 6. Anything you try to fix will take longer and cost you more than you thought. 不管修理什么东西，都会花掉比你预计的要多的时间和金钱。 （要做就一次做好！ ） 7. Nature always sides with the hidden flaw. 大自然总是与瑕疵为伍。 （ 大家都比较同情弱者！ ） 18. A Smith & Wesson beats four aces. 一把史密斯 - 韦森枪胜过四条爱司。 （ 美国西部开发时期，每有赌博时，即使你手中的牌有四个爱司，也比不上 别人手里有把枪。用老毛的话来说就是 : 枪杆子里面出政权。 ） 19. In case of doubt, make it sound convincing. 有疑虑的时候，尽量使它听起来有说服力。 （ 话越多的人，越有破绽！ ） 20.
