one of my friends asked me a question

how to express“我很紧张呢”

this is a very common sentence

the one we use the most is I'm nervous.

well,sometimes if you want to exaggerate a little bit

you can say I'm so nervous that I can hardly breathe

today I'm gonna teach you two better expressions

that have the same meaning which means someone is nervous

the first one is you seem to have ants in your pants.

the other one is have butterflies in one's stomach.

老实说我觉得外国人老喜欢用动物去做比喻，

如果你细心观察的话，你会发现特别是美国的一些俚语

包含了许许多多的动物元素。话不多说，怎么用呢？

跟大家举个例子let's suppose

Jeremy and matte are classmates and good friends

one day they take the same exam.

but they are very different

Jeremy often plays hooky and his study is quite awful

and matte is a good student

he can almost get full marks in every test

so he is a 学霸，a nerd.

when they meet each other,jeremy is very nervous

so matte could say:

you seem to have ants in your pants

or you have butterflies in your stomach

well i guess jeremy could say nothing but nod

cause he never prepares anything for the exam.

so guys if you want to get good grades

you have to be aware of something

there is no shortcut in the world

except studying hared .
