数词 一、数词的构成 1、1-12是独立的单词 如：one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve 2、13-19都是以-teen为结尾的，但是13、15、18除外。 如： fourteen sixteen seventeen nineteen (thirteen fifteen eighteen) 3、20-90整十位数都是以个位数+ty 结尾的。 如：twenty thirty forty fifty sixty seventy eighty ninety 4、21-99是由“几十”加上“几”组合起来的（用连字符号“-”） 如：twenty-one eighty-two 5、101-999三位数中十位数或个位数前加and 如：202: two hundred and two 313: three hundred and thirteen 注：（1）hundred, thousand ,million 表示确切数目时，不加“s”,如：five hundred。 但表示不确切的数目时，加“s”,加“f”， 如： millions of thousands of （2）“三十多岁”用in one’s thirties “三十年代”用in the thirties （3）合成基数词作定语的表达 如：五年计划：a five-year plan 二、序数词的构成 1、除第一、第二、第三、第五、第八、九、十二外，其他都是在基数词后加“th” 如：first second third fifth eighth ninth twelfth (sixth seventh) 2、二十、三十„„九十等词变化是在相应的基数词中去y加“ieth” 如：twenty twentieth ninety ninetieth 3、“第几十几”只要把个位数变成序数词 如：第二十一：twenty-first 4、缩写形式可由阿拉伯数字加序数词的最后两个字母构成 如：1st 2nd 3rd 4th „„99th 三、数词的用法 1、 分数的构成：分子用基数词，分母用序数词（分子超过1时，分母序数词后要加s） 如：1/3=one third 2/3=two thirds 1/2=one second (one half) 1/4=one fourth(a quarter) 2、小数的构成：基数词+小数点+基数词（小数点读point） 如：1.8=one point eight 1.87=one point eight seven 45.06=forty-five point zero six 3、百分数的构成；基数词+percent 如：15%=fifteen percent 4、年、月、日的构成；从小到大排列（日期用序数词，年用基数词） 如；1998/10/10 写作Oct.10,1998 读作Oct. the tenth nineteen ninty-eight 2002读作two thousand and two 5、年龄的构成：用基数词 如：The girl is seven(years old). 6、时刻的构成：用基数词 如：8：15读作eight fifteen 或者fifteen past eight 四、练习 1.I have heard such stories_______ A. a hundred of times B. hundreds of times C. a hundred time D. two hundreds times 2.
