　　As is vividly shown in the picture，a man is chopping down the trees，with sleeves rolling up and a cigarette in his mouth.Suddenly a woodpecker， fluttering its wings，flies on the marl’s shoulder，pecking and thinking angrily：“There must be worms in this piece of wood…”
　　Why does the woodpecker peck the man? Because there are worms in his head，and the worms are called“greed”or“selfishness”.Human beings have been cutting down the trees in the forests because they need wood and more farmland.The areas of forests are getting smaller and smaller.If the forests disappear，dust storms will occur frequently.Human beings will be punished for their forest-destroying activities sooner or later.
　　We must face the situation and take actions to solve our environmental problems.For instance，new laws must be passed to place strict control over deforestation and the public must realize the importance of protecting the forests.
