D:Mom, this year's summer wear is already out on the market,Why don't we go out for shopping?
女儿：妈妈，今年的夏装已经上市了。为什么我们不去选购呢？
M:That's all you have on your mind, shopping for new clothes. What I am thinking is to give our home decor a changeover.
妈妈：你就只知道购物买新衣服。我想的是把我们家粉刷或者改变一下。
D:Oh! There goes my perfect vacation.
女儿：噢！这就是我惬意的假期。
M:Look here, decorating your room is like making up yourself. It's going to be pretty interesting. I believe that today you're going to have a great sense of accomplishment.
妈妈：看这儿，粉刷你的房间就好比给你自己化装一样，会很有趣的。我想今天你肯定会有很大的成就感。
D:Oh, alright, I'll just have to treat the wall as my canvas. I'm thinking of painting the wall of the living room pale blue, the dinning room red, and my room pale green.
女儿：哦，好吧。我就把这墙当作我的画布吧。我打算把客厅刷成淡蓝色，饭厅刷成红色，我的房间刷成淡绿色。
M:You're sure that you want to be in charge of painting the walls? That can be pretty exhausting.
妈妈：你确定你负责刷墙？那是很累人的活。
D:Of course. I'll be asking my dear brother for help. Surely you don't think I was going to leave him out?
女儿：是的。我会让亲爱的哥哥来帮我的。你不会认为我会把他排除在外吧？
M:That's exactly what I have in mind.
