　从2010年考研变革以来，英语二一直考的都是图表类作文。所以，针对图表类作文大家要掌握一些表示趋势的词及描写性短语及句型。在这里，老师和大家来分享下描写性词汇。

　　1.动词

　　上升、增加：grow，rise，increase，go up, ascend

　　下降、减少：decline，drop，decrease，go down，fall down，reduce，slump，descend

　　提高：improve，promote，enhance，upgrade，facilitate，boost

　　停止：stop，intermit，give over， discontinue，cease，abstain，conclude，desist，end，finish，quit，terminate

　　开始：begin，originate，set in motion， institute， commence，enter

　　实现，完成：accomplish，achieve，carry out， complete，do，fulfill，realize

　　表达观点：affirm，allege，assert，declare，confirm，state，pronounce，conserve，hold，keep，maintain

　　大约：about，around，approximately，almost，nearly，roughly

　　急剧地：dramatically，drastically，sharply，steeply

　　缓慢地：steadily，smoothly，slightly，slowly，gradually，moderately，mildly

　　巨大地：hugely，enormously，vastly，considerably，substantially，radically，significantly

　　显著地：markedly，remarkably，noticeably，strikingly

　　因此：thus，hence，consequently，accordingly
