　　Should we help those in need?

　　The picture illustrates what we often read in news in modem society：an old man is lying on the street，while the passers-by are all hesitating to give a hand, in case that it may incur unwanted trouble.

　　From my point of view, there may be some main reasons for this phenomenon. Firstly, it’s reported that some old people deliberately fell to blackmail those who help them. It is the behavior of those old people that makes this phenomenon more severer. Though some people want to help, they are afraid to incur unwanted problems. As a result, the old really in need cannot get help from the passers-by. On the other hand, in morn society, everyone is so busy that they become indifferent to the things out of their business. All they care about is their position, their salary,etc.. Try to imagine that when you are in need but nobody helps you!

　　To sum up, I hold that we must help those in need, but we should protect ourselves in the same time.
