Directions:

Dear Wang Li,

I am glad to give you some advice on the problem you are faced with. As you said in your last letter, you couldn’t make a decision about which to study in your college, computer science or

history.

In my opinion, nowadays, with the development of science and technology, computer plays an increasing role in our work and daily lives. As it turns out, one who wants to find a good job

must be an expert at computer first. Referring to history, I don’t think it is a subject that could contribute to your capacity of finding a satisfactory job. You could take it into account that you

may regard history as one of your hobbies.
