　　With the development of our society, the campusno longer is an "Ivory Tower". It is necessary forcollege students to go outside to get to know theworld. They should acquire knowledge not only frombooks but also from the society. Thus(因此) they canadapt to society more quickly after they graduatefrom school. Science and technology are developingrapidly with each passing day. Most students can keep themselves informed by watching TV, listening to the radio, reading newspapers and using computers. It’s also good to take a part-time job, such as tutoring(辅导), or working in a restaurant. Any of these methods will enablestudents to get in touch with society.

　　Summer vacation will soon be here. I’ve already enrolled(登记) to be a volunteer to helpothers. I think I can do well. Although I won’t be paid, the most important thing is that I canlearn a lot about society.
