　　Living in a Low-Carbon World

　　Presently, a new lifestyle called low-carbon life is spreading every corner of the world. People believe that if they consume less resource, the living condition will be better.

　　The appearance of this trend is mainly due to the worsening environment on the earth. Human beings are exhausting the energy resources and emitting greenhouse gases, which changed the earth’s climate and led to a series of serious and horrible consequences. Therefore, it’s everyone’s responsibility to live a low-carbon life to protect our earth.

　　How do we realize it? In the first place, the government should advocate a no-car day every week, because cars not only waste energy but also cause serious air pollution. Citizens should be encouraged to take public transportation, or just ride a bike or walk. Besides, people had better not use disposable plastic bags but use bags which can be reused again and again. Moreover, we should try every means to save energy in our daily life. We ought to switch off the lights the moment we leave a room, turn off the tap in time, and reuse our textbooks and so on.
